Operational details for Maryland
Which compliance standards apply?
Heat-treatment chamber maintained at 56C core for 30 minutes per ISPM-15 Annex 1; each load shipped with a treatment certificate signed by a USDA-registered inspector.
Maryland regional shipping and logistics
Buyback programs pay current market rate for returned pallets in Grade A condition; minimum 50 pallets per pickup; integrated with our recycling stream for sustainability reporting.
Same-day delivery available within 75 miles of our Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami, and Lakeland yards; minimum 24 pallets; small-order pricing applies on freight.
What are the pallet specifications?
Standard 48x40 GMA pallets feature 5/8 inch deck boards with a 4-board face pattern; bottom configuration is 3-board for four-way fork entry; nail pattern uses 2.5 inch screw-shank galvanized fasteners.
Block pallets (four-way entry) use nine 4-inch hardwood blocks with continuous-face top deck; ideal for ASRS (automated storage and retrieval) and AGV (automated guided vehicle) operations where stringer interruptions cause read-failures.
Delivery and logistics
Dry-van loads handle weather-sensitive pallet stock and food-grade freight; sealed loads with bill-of-lading documentation; supports DOT-required commercial routing.
Customer use case
Marine industry suppliers (Fort Lauderdale, Stuart, Miami) use exterior-rated pallets that resist saltwater corrosion; treated lumber stock available; preferred for boat-component freight to Bahamas and Caribbean.
How are these pallets priced?
Volume pricing kicks in at 100 pallets, 500 pallets, and 2,000 pallets per month; sustained standing orders lock pricing for 12 months; spot orders subject to current lumber market pricing.
Sustainability
Our Lakeland and Jacksonville recycling streams process 200,000+ pallets per year; broken stock is repaired or chipped for mulch (sold separately); zero-landfill goal targeted for 2027.
