Operational details for Michigan
Which compliance standards apply?
Kiln-dried hardwood meets NWPCA Uniform Standard for Wood Pallets; moisture content verified <19% at dispatch, blade-cut deck boards, no visible bark.
Michigan regulatory context
Michigan tier-2 automotive suppliers in Holland, Battle Creek, and Saginaw use returnable-pallet pools with OEM customers; our buyback pricing supports cost-control for Magna, Lear, and Adient supply networks.
Michigan automotive supply-chain logistics require JIT pallet delivery to assembly plants; we provide GPS-tracked delivery with 15-minute arrival ETAs to GM Warren, Ford Dearborn, and Stellantis Auburn Hills facilities.
What are the pallet specifications?
Custom 42x42 pallet builds use 7/8 inch deck boards for telecommunications-equipment loads; nail-pattern density doubled to handle 5,000 lb static load; runner spacing optimized for 4,000 lb-capacity narrow-aisle reach trucks.
Lumber spec for new GMA stock: mixed hardwood (oak, maple, ash, hickory) with minimum 600 SG (specific gravity); kiln dried to <19% moisture; visible defects limited to wane on outer 1/3 of deck board only.
Delivery and logistics
Flatbed delivery handles oversized loads or pallets with overhanging product; tarping included; preferred for export crates and bulk lumber shipments.
Customer use case
Beverage distributors (beer, soda, water) move primarily 48x40 GMA in dry-van loads; standard week sees Mon/Wed/Fri delivery rotation; volume discounts kick in at 200+ pallets per week sustained.
How are these pallets priced?
Net 30 terms standard for established customers with credit approval; Net 15 or COD for first three orders; credit card and ACH accepted for spot orders.
Sustainability
Sustainability reports provided quarterly to standing-order customers; documents pallets recycled, lumber diverted from landfill, and CO2-equivalent savings vs new-only sourcing.
