Operational details for Wisconsin
Which compliance standards apply?
Heat-treatment chamber maintained at 56C core for 30 minutes per ISPM-15 Annex 1; each load shipped with a treatment certificate signed by a USDA-registered inspector.
Wisconsin regional shipping and logistics
Drop-trailer programs maintain a customer-dedicated 53-foot trailer on-site; we swap full-for-empty on a scheduled 24/48/72-hour rotation; preferred for high-throughput dock operations.
Flatbed delivery handles oversized loads or pallets with overhanging product; tarping included; preferred for export crates and bulk lumber shipments.
What are the pallet specifications?
Lumber spec for new GMA stock: mixed hardwood (oak, maple, ash, hickory) with minimum 600 SG (specific gravity); kiln dried to <19% moisture; visible defects limited to wane on outer 1/3 of deck board only.
Deck board edge type defaults to chamfered for forklift safety; square-edge available on request for ASRS compatibility; rounded-edge banding tracks available for high-throughput line-side delivery.
Delivery and logistics
Buyback programs pay current market rate for returned pallets in Grade A condition; minimum 50 pallets per pickup; integrated with our recycling stream for sustainability reporting.
Customer use case
Citrus packhouses operate seasonal volume peaks November-April; we maintain dedicated Polk County and Indian River inventory to support 6-12 truckload weekly delivery during peak; standing-order pricing locks rates Oct 1.
How are these pallets priced?
ISPM-15 export documentation included on every applicable load at no additional cost; some competitors charge $50-150 per load for the certificate; we don't.
Sustainability
Pallet recycling diverts ~80% of returned stock from landfill; recycled pallets carry 60-70% lower embodied carbon than new GMA; our annual sustainability report documents tons diverted per customer.
